



After
gaining 70 lbs with my second child, I had been unable to lose
the last 20 lbs. nearly 2 years after his birth. I would skip
meals and then be so hungry that I would eat whatever was nearby.
My diet included bagels with cream cheese and snacks such as
goldfish, cheese-its, and cheetos. I had been a yo-yo dieter
with my weight fluctuating most of my life. Even having been
a therapist and program coordinator for an eating disorders
program, I was a disordered eater.
I felt sluggish most of
the day and could barely keep up
with my 2- and 5-year-old
boys.
In March of 2007, I saw a friend, K.T. Craven, whom I had not seen in a while. She looked terrific! I asked what she had done. She informed me that she had lost 45 lbs with a weight loss center in town and gave me a flyer offering a free consultation. I was so intrigued by her story and the new energy she had that I couldn’t wait to call the program.
I scheduled an appointment right away and hoped this would really work for me as it had for my friend. After losing 4 lbs. during my first week, I knew I could be successful. I followed the program's outline and reached my goal in 6 weeks. I had so much energy I felt I could climb mountains. I found myself enjoying my exercise routine and the changes in my body as a result of my new eating habits.
My
husband had moved to Texas in March where he had accepted a
job and the family was following as soon as we closed on the
sale of our house in April.
I was so thrilled with my progress
that I wanted to share this program with other people.
I truly believe in this program and that God has given me the opportunity to help others succeed in weight loss just as I have.
